Engage with the Community

Business Partnership

At the Emergency Food Pantry, we know that you want to create opportunities for your employees to engage with their community. Time and time again, research has shown that corporate volunteer programs attract new employees, increase employee retention, and improve corporate visibility. But there is one problem: with everything else on your plate, the task of identifying volunteer opportunities for your business can be overwhelming. And even once you’ve accomplished that, it can be difficult to get employee buy-in.

We work with business leaders just like you every day—in fact, last year alone, we hosted over 45 volunteer opportunities for local businesses. We’ve seen first-hand the impact that these corporate volunteer programs have. When you volunteer with the Emergency Food Pantry, it’s not just your business that benefits. We all pay the price of hunger, as the economic and social costs of malnutrition, chronic illness, unemployment, and low productivity impact our entire community.

We all benefit when fewer among us are hungry. Please consider volunteering at the Emergency Food Pantry with your business. Whether you prefer to choose one day to volunteer—like your business’s birthday, or the third Monday of every month—or “adopt” an entire week at the Pantry, just follow these three simple steps:
